While studying dance and martial arts in college, Jodelle learned to appreciate the relief massage brings from pain and excess tension. However, much of today’s stress accumulates by sitting very still to click and tap on a keyboard.

Because no two clients are alike, every day brings Jodelle new challenges and appreciation for the work, customizing sessions for the most active individuals as well as the desk ridden. That is one of the reasons she has been joyfully practicing massage for over twenty years.

Deliberate and relaxing, Jodelle uses a variety of techniques in each session, from Swedish to deep tissue, neuromuscular, trigger point, and occasionally a bit of cranio -sacral massage.

She is also our resident chair massage practitioner, with 15 years of experience offering this service. Of chair massage, she says “As a therapist, I find the body mechanics much more comfortable. Standing and using my core, I feel strong and effective in my technique.” Within a shorter session, and remaining fully clothed, upper body (back, neck, shoulder, arm) issues can be addressed.
